It’s no secret that the world can sometimes feel like it’s spinning out of control. But we have the ultimate weapon to combat the chaos – our sense of humor! That’s right, the Bible even says so:
Proverbs 17:22 (NIV) says, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
Let’s take a look at some reasons why it’s great for us Christian men to keep our sense of humor in the midst of a world spinning out of control.
1. Humor brings joy and laughter, which can be a powerful antidote to stress and anxiety. In a world that seems to be in constant turmoil, a good laugh can help us to keep our spirits up and maintain a positive outlook.
2. A sense of humor is a great way to connect with others and build relationships. We all know that as Christian men, we’re called to love and serve others. What better way to do that than by sharing a laugh and making someone’s day a little brighter?
3. Laughter is contagious! When we keep our sense of humor and share it with others, we can create a ripple effect of joy and positivity that can spread far and wide.
Now, for a little joke to keep you smiling:
Why did the tomato turn red?
Because it saw the salad dressing!
Keeping our sense of humor in the midst of a world spinning out of control is a powerful way to block many of the enemy’s attacks against our soul. We can find joy and laughter in even the toughest situations, and by doing so, we can be a light to others and bring hope in the midst of chaos.
